Do you like to print lists to keep trees and animals organized on your farms? At a loss for how to get all the information, in a workable format? Well your Dirt Farmer team has come to the rescue! The Dirt Farmer's FarmVille Items Site is your one stop shop to print any list you need! How do you do it? Using the CSV button! Read below for directions and please do share....
Then choose a category from the top that you would like to print. For our example we will select trees.
As you can see it will pop up a view of trees with new items listed first. If you are looking for a certain letter, you can also click on any letter of the alphabet to view those first.
Now to make our list. Click on the CSV button in the middle of the page near the top.
You will then get the following pop-up. (If you do not, make sure that your browser is set to allow pop-ups on the Items Site)
Choose the information that you want included whether just names or everything and uncheck anything that you do not want to save ink.
Next click on the down arrow next to where it says "new items" and choose whether you would like new items first or alphabetical order. The other two fields are fine as they are.
Now click on the "export to csv" button.
You will then get a pop-up inviting you to save the csv file. Make sure that it is saved somewhere that you will be able to find it easily (for this example we are using the Documents folder) and you can also change the name if you want, then click save.
Now go to where you just saved the file and click on it to open it. The following box will pop-up. Make sure that the lines in the lower part of the file contain all of the information you wanted then click ok.
Voila! Your list will now open in your default spreadsheet program! (If you do not have a default spreadsheet program, it will ask you to designate one. If you do not have one on your computer at all, LibreOffice is a good free one.
You can then choose to print the entire list, or click and drag a series of rows, to print the selection of your choice. (If you do this make sure to check the "print selection" box in the printer dialog box)
That's all for now, stay tuned to the Dirt Farmer for all the latest FarmVille news and information.
