Dirt Farmer Foundation CAUSE it’s JUNE: The American Red Cross

We’ve all seen the news this week and have seen the devastation to the mid-west from the storms and twisters. We have decided to make the Dirt Farmer Foundation’s CAUSE it’s June the American Red Cross due to their tireless effort in helping victims of these disasters.
We hope you would take a minute to consider helping as well.

The American Red Cross is on the ground today in the Midwest offering people shelter, food and comfort after yet another round of devastating tornadoes in this part of the country.
More than 1,100 Red Cross workers were in Oklahoma when the tornadoes hit the area Friday and were forced to take shelter during the storm. They are back up and running again today, helping to assess the new tornado damage and provide shelter, meals and supplies in the affected areas as conditions permit. The Red Cross is working with officials in both Oklahoma and Missouri to get help to where it is needed.
“Our thoughts are with everyone impacted by this latest round of storms,” said Trevor Riggen, vice president of Disaster Operations and Logistics for the Red Cross. “We’re working with local authorities to get help as quickly as possible to communities who have been in the path of the severe weather in the past few days. The Red Cross will be on the ground for some time providing comfort and support as people recover.”
