Tip for Dairy Barn rotation: When trying to harvest cows in the dairy barn, make sure that you have some 100% ready cow on farm. First, place the cow that you want to harvest (Sweater Cow in this case) in the Dairy Barn, and then use the 'move' tool to put any one of the 100% ready cows from the farm, into the dairy barn, and then harvest it. Repeat the process by putting another 100% ready cow into the dairy barn and harvest again.

  1. With Zynga and Facebook making so many changes, it seems silly to go on playing Farmville! If you bought any Zynga IPO, 'Sell, Sell, Sell!." This company is going down!

    ReplyDelete
  2. As usual, thank you for the information!!

    ReplyDelete
  3. Get ready! Here comes another set of quests! I think Zynga has gone totally 'Survivor' insane!

  4. for quest #6 "harvest 150 peppermints" but the tip says cranberries or super cranberries.

  5. Thanks for posting the info. I'm confused about quest 6 info - harvest 150 peppermint but you suggest cranberries/super cranberries. Is this correct?

    ReplyDelete
  6. thx as always!! :)

  7. Where you have the words " (2) or (3) days to harvest on the farm - are you talking stand alone? And if so does that mean that are not going to be able to be put into any of these millions of habitats that we have to have??? LOL

    ReplyDelete
  8. CJ, that 2 or 3 days is the standalone info as you guessed... its the time taken for a normal harvest when placed on farm...

  9. NEVER KNEW THAT CROPS PLANTED ON THE COVE FARM COUNTED ... TOO BAD BECAUSE I PLANTED THE BERRIES BUT WAS READY TO HARVEST IN THE COVE THEY COUNTED .

  10. It looks like candied yams qualify as a vegitable in the 1st quest. 4 hours vs 8 for recommended pumpkins

    ReplyDelete
  11. Anybody know if tasks 6 if CRANBERRIES will work yet? Thanks, TINY

Harvest Sweater Cow Twice (Rotate in Dairy Barn - tips for dairy barn rotation at the bottom of this post, else harvest in Cow Pasture if you dont have Dairy Barn)

  14. Why can't we put the sweater penguin in a pen to harvest faster???? Anyone know? please help!!

  15. AND WHY WON'T THE NUTCRACKER BALLERINA GO IN A ORCHARD?

    ReplyDelete
  16. The sweater penguin goes into the zoo to harvest

    ReplyDelete
  17. I think the sweater penguin goes into the wild life habitat not the zoo (at least the zoo didnt work for me)

    ReplyDelete
  18. Sweater Penguin doesn't seem to go into any of the enclosures. Guess I'm stuck for three days.

Can verify that candied yams works for vegetable at 4 hours.

  19. do cove cranberries work, or must they simply be regular cranberries?

    ReplyDelete
  20. don't understand"TIP FOR DAIRY BARN ROTATION" It says to move a 100% ready cow off the farm into the barn and harvest and then you can repeat with another cow, when you click on a 100% ready cow on the farm it gets harvest and becomes 0% before you can move it. What am I missing here??????

    ReplyDelete
  21. To Anonymous, you must use the "move" tool the hand icon not the arrow icon.

    ReplyDelete
  22. TIP FOR DAIRY BARN ROTATION does NOT work anymore. With every horse you put in, 4% goes off. So from 100 to 96%. Put another 100% horse inside, and it will go to 92%.

    ReplyDelete
  23. The horse paddock WILL reduce by 4% if you put a new horse in it, but if you put that same horse into your horse STABLE, you can then put a 100%-ready-horse in and the stable will go to 100%. Use the move tool, not the all-purpose tool, to move ready-to-harvest animals.

    ReplyDelete
  24. Quest 8: Warm Best Friend
    ' Harvest 600 Strawberries ' I just got lucky, planting super strawberries(about 350) counted as 600/600 harvested.Cool....

    ReplyDelete
  25. WhAT IS STABLE ROTATION?

    ReplyDelete
  26. Stable Rotation is where you have one or more "ripe" horses on your farm (not in stable). Harvest your "ripe" stable then make sure that you remove one or two horses, then move one of the "ripe" horses in. The stable will instantly be ready to harvest again. Repeat as many times as you have enough "ripe" horses for.
So, to harvest an "unripe" horse, just add it to a
"ripe" stable. For the Winter Rug Horse, add it to a ripe stable, harvest the stable. Then add another ripe horse and harvest the stable again. There's your two Winter Rug Horse harvest done.

    ReplyDelete
  27. I put the sweater cow in cow pasture but it set me to longer harvest time...added 100% ready cow...set me to longer, did it again~ longer...was at 99% when I put sweater cow in now it's at 72% for first harvest... ;~(

    ReplyDelete
  28. The sweater cow that you placed in the cow pasture needs to go into the dairy barn for this to work. You need to have a few available spaces in your dairy barn. So if it is ready to harvest, click to harvest it. Then remove at least 3 cows. Next place the cow you need to fulfill your quest requirement, in your case, the sweater cow and place it in the dairy barn. Finally, you will need to find a cow on your farm that is at 100%. Place that cow in the dairy barn and the barn will be ready to harvest. Harvest it. Then place another cow that is at 100% in the dairy barn to harvest it again. I hope this helps you

  30. I ran out of time and couldn't finish quest 8, and that was much earlier, today. Why haven't I been offered quest #9? Anybody know?

    ReplyDelete
  31. I ran out of time for quest 8 and only got offer it the same days as it ran out why was this now haven't got quest 9 at all

    ReplyDelete
  32. I just tried this, so know that it does work. For the "veggies", plant Crimini mushrooms 12 min.. what a time saver!
