FarmVille Once Upon A Winter Farm Sisters Of Joy Christmas Feature

With the release of FarmVille Once Upon A Winter Farm's second region the Icy Tarn comes this year's rather complicated Christmas feature the Sisters of Joy. Read below for the details that your Dirt Farmer team has found and please do share...
We will be joining a trio of fairy sisters, named in different places as the Wand Sisters and the Wing Sisters on a magical journey to unlock interactive decos and win prizes.
A look at the preview loading screen.

A look at the pop-up we will receive when the feature goes live on our farms.

The Icy Tarn region will host three interactive decorations that will harvest for a consumable currency that you can redeem for your Christmas presents beginning on December 25. You will be able to continue to harvest your decorations after December 25th.

You can harvest the decorations as soon as you acquire them. There do not appear to be any alternate ways to aquire the consumables to redeem. There are no recipes to craft them and there does not appear to be any option to post for them. They are exclusively available via harvesting the decorations.

They can each be harvested once every 4 hours and it appears that each time you harvest a decoration, you will receive 10 of that decoration's consumables.

THE DIRECTIONS INSIDE THE FEATURE WERE CHANGED TO REFLECT THE ONCE EVERY 6 HOUR HARVEST THE TIMER IS SET TO. IT WILL NOT BE REDUCED TO EVERY 4 HOURS.

IMPORTANT NOTE : Each of these decorations will require you to look inside the feature in order to harvest.

Now lets take a look at the three harvestable decorations and where and how you get them.

You will be rewarded with each decoration when you unlock the expansion tile that it sits on.

The first decoration is called the Winter Belfry. It harvests for Holiday Cheer. Please note that if you opt to rearrange your farm, that this decoration can only be placed on snow terrain.
It is on your home tile that unlocks on December 5th with the Icy Tarn.

The second decoration is the Fun Frolic Rink it will harvest for the Shiny Ornaments
It is on the Fairy Farm tile expansion, the third unlockable expansion and is available for unlock on December 19th, as long as you have completed the required tasks. To review what you must do to earn this tile click here.  If you do not wish to complete the tasks, or do not wish to wait, you can also purchase the tile for 24 farm cash.
THE FARMVILLE STUDIO HAS ASKED US TO LET YOU KNOW THAT THIS TILE WILL UNLOCK ON THURSDAY DECEMBER 15TH INSTEAD OF THE 19TH.

The third decoration is called the Winter Manor, it will harvest for the Mistletoe Ribbons.
In an extremely odd choice on the FarmVille Studio's part , it is located on the Snowy Fields tile - our fourth Once Upon A Winter expansion which does not unlock until December 26th, as long as you have completed the required tasks. To review what you must do to earn this tile click here. If you do not wish to complete the tasks, or do not wish to wait, you can also purchase the tile for 60  farm cash.
Your Dirt Farmer team has reached out to the FarmVille Studio for clarification on the late unlock dates and if that was intentional. We shall update this post when they respond. UPDATE THE FARMVILLE STUDIO HAS LET US KNOW THAT THIS TILE WILL NOW RELEASE ON MONDAY DECEMBER 19TH INSTEAD OF MONDAY DECEMBER 26TH.

With This change the Snowflake Meadow Expansion originally scheduled for January 30, 2017 will now unlock on December 26, 2016 to keep the flow steady.

THE IMAGE ISSUE IN THE PRESENTS SCREEN HAS BEEN RESOLVED AND THEY NOW DISPLAY IN THE CORRECT ORDER WITH THE CORRECT COUNTS.

  1. What does the interact with the buildings mean and is it worth doing it?

  2. Please let them know we need coin vehicles. Clicking to master crops to plow, plant, and harvest is way too time consuming and extremely frustrating and disrespectful to long-time players.
