FarmVille Puppy Come Home Feature

Farmville and Zynga are getting ready to offer us a new version of an old and popular feature called Puppy Come Home.  The Puppy Come Home Feature will offer ALL NEW REWARDS, and the theme appears to be based on winter weather and the outdoors.  It also involves a map, with four distinct regions.   We will be finding animals along our travels and each of four sections will come with a piece of the map to get us closer to solving the puzzle. If we help Peggy the puppy find her way home, we will get Peggy’s friend the Penny Unicorn. It is basically the same feature as the Wandering Pirate but this time once you complete all sets of animals, you get a bonus reward.   Check out the details below and please do share with friends if you find it helpful.

FarmVille Puppy come home will be available on our farms from 7th November 2016 to 4th December 2016

First of all as mentioned above, this feature will have ALL NEW REWARDS. There will be 16 BRAND NEW animals to win across the four areas of the map. If we complete all four and win all 16 animals, we will also win THE PENNY UNICORN as a 17th bonus prize.

A look at the loading screen

Just like the Pirate Ruby in the Wandering Pirate, you will be able to find Peggy’s icon for the feature at the outside edge of your farms.  You will need to lure the animals with Striped Candy. You will be able to obtain Striped Candy by posting to the feed, collecting from friends posts, crafting them or purchasing with farm cash. Several options for every taste. There will be a countdown timer within the feature to let you know how long you have left to complete it.

Here is a sneak peak at the 4 regions contained in the feature where we will be helping Peggy return home and finding fabulous rewards.

A look at the crafts that are associated with this feature. The Striped Candy. Similar to several prior all farm and farm specific features, it looks as if there will be 3 different Striped Candy recipes, one for 1 Basket, 1 for 3 Baskets and one for 5 Baskets.

  1. I miss the "good old", NATURAL animals (and trees!) - why all the clothes, patterns, etc.? I would appreciate it a great deal if there came at least some "real" items with those features ...

    1. Maybe the creative folks wanted to create. FV is a game, not a documentary and there is a finite amount of cows and horses and pigs and such in the world. I guess that was what you meant by "good old". I have many many realistic items, have learned about crops that do exist in different parts of the world, and appreciate the good mix of real and fun. Monkeys who play the drums make my hard days a little bit sunnier, even if they are just in a game. (I can drive about 5 miles north and see cows all day long in real life)

    2. I wish they would offer us a choice. I do not like the dressed up animals, but I know some do. They have to draw the "basic" animal first, why can't they offer it as a FC option? Yes, there are a finite number of animals in the world, but I would happily buy, for example, an authentic looking Arabian Stallion in every breed-allowed color from solid black to bay to chestnut to pure white. The AKC recognizes over a hundred breeds of dogs, again I would happily buy one in every allowed color and pattern, from Affenpinscher to Yorkshire Terrier.

  2. Thanks for the info, I have the puppy icon already and I kept clicking and nothing happened. I wonder why she is up so early? But thank you, I would have thought I was doing something wrong. I didn't look at the animals we can earn, I like to be surprised :0) But to the comment above (well, now it is), I like the fun animals. We have a good mix of things that actually occur in nature and fantasy items. Zynga has some creative people working for them!

  3. Does anyone know when we will be able to craft the striped candy canes?

    1. I planted everything today. Probably tomorrow to craft.

  4. well this just sucks I lost the puppy icon and can't make my striped candies what's next ?
