How to Prevent Porn & Spam from appearing on your Facebook Timeline




PREVENT PORN & SPAM FROM APPEARING ON YOUR FACEBOOK TIMELINE

Are you tired of finding unwanted TAGS of Porn and Spam on your Facebook Timeline? HERE we tell you HOW TO review the posts your Facebook contacts TAG you in and review the TAGS people add to your own posts BEFORE they appear on your Timeline. Follow the Easy simple STEPS on this post and you will keep your Facebook Timeline safe from Spam and Porn. 

STEP ONE - FACEBOOK ACTIVITY LOG:
Go to your Facebook Activity Log on your Timeline (bottom right side on top of your cover photo)



  1. Under Filters (left column) click Tag Review
  2. Open the gear icon on the top right side of the box
  3. Set Review to "Enable"


STEP TWO - FACEBOOK SETTINGS:
Go to your Facebook Settings (arrow on top right side of your Facebook menu bar and scroll down to Settings)


  1. Open Timeline and Tagging on the left side column
  2. On Right Side under "Who can add things to my timeline" make sure the second option "Review posts friends tag you in before they appear on your timeline" is set to ON
  3. On Right Side under "How can I manage tags people add and tagging suggestions" make sure the first option "Review tags people add to your own posts before the tags appear on Facebook" is set to ON


WARNING: The above STEPS will not PREVENT your name from being tagged on Porn & Spam. What you are doing is PREVENTING those unwanted posts from appearing on your Facebook Timeline

When you get notifications of the posts you were tagged on (globe on the top right side of your Facebook menu) 


you can go to the post and un-tag yourself and/or report if it's porn or spam. If the post is safe you can click the option to keep and show it on your timeline or you can ignore it. 

TIMELINE REVIEW:
Go to your Facebook Activity Log on your Timeline (bottom right side on top of your cover photo)

  1. Under Filters (left column) click Timeline Review
  2. Search for the Post of interest and click "Add to Timeline" or "Hide"
  3. IF it is an unwanted post, open the Arrow on the right side of the post and click on the option you prefer: remove tag or report
