Farmville Oasis Gardens Chapter 1 Quest Guide

Quest Story: Greetings! I am Salazar, once the most famous merchant across the deserts, but now a storyteller. I hope to kindle in you the fire to unearth the secrets that hide beneath these sand dunes. Do you wish to hear about the mysterious land of Zezura?

Expected duration of the Farmville Oasis Gardens Chapter 1 Quest is from 02nd June 2014 to 08th June 2014

Note: These quests are specific to the Oasis Gardens Farm and hence, before placing any quest animals on other farms, make sure that the quest icon shows up on the other farm too, else their harvests might not count… Also, any info about unreleased quests can't be guaranteed to be the final requirements when the quests go live, as Zynga can change them at any time later...

These quests are repeatable… Also, make sure you read the FULL POST, so that you don't miss out any important tips...

Note: The Crop alternatives mentioned here are good at the time of making this post originally… To check on the updated list, you can check out our Crop Alternatives Page on our Items Info Site

READ BEFORE BEGINNING TO DETERMINE IF YOU ARE WILLING OR ABLE TO DO THIS QUEST: You will need a THREE STAR CAIRO BOUTIQUE to complete this quest (See the Crafting Cottage Level Up Trick here). I (Dirt Farmer Heather) have emailed Zynga asking if they meant to make it that hard. The post will be updated when they reply.

Note: Smart Quest credit is not guaranteed and can be removed by Zynga at any time without warning. Smart Quest amounts are provided in case you wish to GAMBLE, but planting anything less than the full amount required by the quest is at your own risk.

Useful Tips and Info:
As mentioned before, these quests will be specific to the Oasis Gardens Farm only… So, remember not to place any quest animals/trees on any other farms, ‘unless’ you see the quests icon active on the other farms too…
It would be a good thing to have a look at all the quests before starting them, so that you are fully aware as to what you will be needing to do or build for any of the future quests… More tips and details will be added as and when they are found out... Stay Tuned...

  1. if I'm reading these posts right they want us to have a three star building by the 5th quest of the first week. that is crazy what is zynga thinking. I was thinking about buying this farm (Always loved Egypt) but not if the quests are impossible.

    1. I totally agree!!! They never make you have a 3 star building in the first week....its getting ridiculous!!!!

    2. DF Heather said she has contacted Zynga about this issue & will post here when they get back to her. I bet it was a mistake. (hope hope hope)

    3. Well they finally made all the required recipes "one star" but they forgot to drop the quantity down from 3 to 2...we only have 2 tables available until we can level up the boutique to 2 star!

  2. Already bought the dang thing. But I have a feeling Zynga will change that. If they don't, well I won't be doing the quests.

  3. I will never BUY EARLY ACCESS again.....just a way for us to spend fv cash when you just buy a farm and start it off with a 2 STAR level crafting building!!!!!!!!!

  4. Did Zynga hire new employees that don't know any better? There's not enough bushels available in the market yet to be able to craft enough to get to the 3rd level within the first week!!! Most of my friends don't buy the early access and not enough of them are buying my goods. :-/

  5. I bought early access. How dumb am I to buy before I saw the quest 1. I contacted Support got NO help. I will do nothing else towards any donations or early access again. Heather Sinclair should have people who play the game write the quest. No way this person plays.

  6. they fixed it now all the craft items are level 1 items.

  7. they fixed the level to one -- but how in the dickens are we supposed to find enough bushels to craft all those different items???? this is ridiculous and I am more than a little bit annoyed. even with the use of super fertilizers and instagrows, it is nearly impossible to finish, and lots of farmers do not have those available to them to use. I have always bought early entry but wow, this is crazy. noone is growing those crops for us to buy them to do the crafting -- and i am a 500 level player with a LOT of contacts. Then to require THREE of each? I surely appreciate the help from Heather et al, but Z has one too far this time.

  8. It's not that hard to collect the bushels if you use the bushel swap in the market stall. I've been able to get a few bushels from other people and with using a couple of super fertilizers and using the bushel swap every 3 hours I will be done with all my crafting for the quest today and I didn't even get early access to the farm until Monday evening.

  9. Tina, I appreciate what you are saying and am glad you are able to accomplish your goals. However, most people are not able to access/play every three hours all day long to collect all those bushels. I also utilize the bushel swap, and think it was a wonderful addition to the game. I continue to feel that the requirements for this very first quest on a new farm are entirely too stringent.....and have noted a steady increase in these types of crafting requirements that make it more and more difficult for the average farmer to accomplish even the earliest level quests on new farms.

I also find it particularly annoying that there is so much piling on of crafting within the same areas i.e. using the jewelry area of the meditteranean crafting.....for three weeks in a row of the leaderboards. It makes it extremely difficult to at the same time progress with making the animals. Just my opinion, for what it's worth, but I feel these are all designed to make it more and more difficult for anyone to accomplish these tasks. For the record, I too manage to do them these finish leaderboards, beat each farm by the time the next one comes out, etc. --, but the average farmer does not have "unlimited" access to fv cash, instagrows, and super fertilizers. Many of those I chat with just give up early in the process.

I remember fondly the days when it was quite possible to work hard and thus finish the entire line of quests on each farm....don't feel that is true any longer. I'm not one to complain constantly about farmville -- i have played for three years -- and I think that there have been a LOT of very good additions to the game over the past year.
