Farmville and Zynga have put out yet another survey on new farms and new features. This time with an interesting twist – it seems to have only gone to folks who no longer play. We got it from our friend ex-farmer Derek who was asking some playing friends their opinion. When to his surprise, none of us got it, he sent it to me. It appears to be open to all via the link, regardless of whether or not one received the email. Check out some images of the survey below and if you would like to take it yourself click here.
The survey starts out requesting various opinions on features of new farms, and if the player has interacted with various features.
The second part of the survey is more interesting. It asks what the player finds too difficult and for feedback on a new feature. Leaves us wondering why they don’t ask what’s too difficult before someone quits the game. We understand wanting to lure former players back – but why not eliminate the things most players don’t like, for example the extreme level of crafting in quests. and give us the things that we love – like the stables back in the market – before we get to the point of leaving the game?
