  1. So you have to have a Level 5 Fairy Kitchen? (Bog Stew) That's awfully mean of them.

    ReplyDelete
  2. It's not "mean"....you are expected to actively work the new farm. This is the 7th week for those of us who waited for free access. That's less than one level per week. Should be achievable with regular activity, but if you are just sitting back and only crafting to fulfill quest requirements, or if you have made other things a higher priority, you won't get there.

  3. Oh, really, I didn't know that you were "expected" to farm in a certain way. I already have a Level 5 kitchen, I was just feeling bad for my friends who have been trying to get there, but are finding it hard to level it up. Oh, and that bug that they still haven't fixed that makes a lot of us unable to buy goods from most of our neighbors doesn't help. Based on what I've seen from my neighbors, this is a premature requirement, and probably yet again geared towards "forcing" people to spend Farm Cash.

  4. No one is forcing anything. Players have the choice on whether they feel the prizes are worth it. Ever heard of "free will"? By actively farming, you are earning the right to advance through quests without spending farm cash. If that's not your choice, you can take shortcuts by paying for it. Again, free will. It's always easier to blame someone else (BIG BAD ZYNGA IS FORCING ME TO DO SOMETHING!)

As far as not being able to buy goods, you've always been limited to 100 items per day. If you only have access to, for example, 25 neighbors, you can buy through your market stall on one farm, go to another farm and buy another 25. Keep repeating that until you've hit your limit. If all of your neighbors would do the same thing, you'd level up in no time.

    1. You must work for Zynga- LOL!

  5. I need players that respond to requests (we can see who answers them), click on posts and know how to use the 'like' button. It's agravating when people don't let you know that they helped so you can help them back. It's also rude not to say 'thank you'.

    ReplyDelete
  6. Using the 'like' button too much can also get you thrown into "Facebook jail".....I post literally hundreds of items on the news feed every day (and help every one of my friends and neighbors who look for help on tasks and quests) and I absolutely DO NOT want hundreds of likes and thank yous. So you see, everyone has a different way to play. Calling them 'rude' just because they don't share your opinion is just arrogant and ignorant.

    1. To "Anonymous" on Feb. 24th- @ 8:39 AM,
You are correct about being thrown in "Facebook jail"...I have neighbors who make it abundantly clear that they want and expect all of their posts to be clicked on "LIKE", however- the past few days I have been getting that dreaded warning about getting BANNED for those actions!
No way can one pop in and out of the game, so I use the tab shortcut and even have slowed down on how fast I can click on requests and items, while even doing that takes quite awhile, it sure beats trying to help out neighbors by clicking like, then the item and going into the extremely slow loading game.
Also, as you pointed out, while neighbors are clicking like constantly on your posts, and you ar in-game, it is annoying because of how the right side of the screen fills up with alerts of "likes".

  7. I REALLY WISH THEY WOULD STOP MAKING USE MAKE THINGS THAT REQUIRE A LEVEL THAT WE DONT HAVE YET IN THE FOOD THING ,, I NEED TO LEVEL UP 22 TIMES TILL I CAN MAKE THAT BOG STEW

    ReplyDelete
  8. WELL IM HERE ALL THE TIME BUT NO ONE EVER HAS THE BUSHELS NEEDED TO MAKE ANYTHING , AND EVEN WHEN I PLANT I DONT GET BUT A FEW NO MATER HOW MUCH FREE SPACE I HAVE IT IS WEIRD REALLY

  9. Your caps lock key is stuck. And it sounds like you either don't have enough neighbors, or they are lousy players. Or you have a crappy game plan. Most of my friends and neighbors are anxiously waiting the release of the new farm because they have already beaten EG.

    1. I agree with Lisa and Yaelle G. to the post above...not everyone can get tons of neighbors. No need to knock Lisa for what you consider a "crappy" game plan.
If you and your neighbors have already beaten EG, that is rather telling.....you all must not have a life outside of FV. ;)

    2. Right. No life. Work two jobs. Volunteer twice a week. Maintain a household. Support an elderly parent. And still able to play a game is pretty easy to manage with half a brain.

The things that people whine and complain about are actually pretty insignificant.

  10. I cant get my kitchen on that farm to anywhere close to this level. I think its at level 2? And going nowhere fast. Most of my other farms are ok as far as thcrafting but with this one....I just cannot seem to get ANYWHERE. Nowehre. I have at least - well, its extremely hard to say how many neighbors, because people quit so often. At one point I had well over 1000, went down to 500 or so and its gone from 400 to 750 over the past 9 months. NO idea really.
But I can not get a THING done with the past 2 farms. Nothing. Just....nothing. And nearly all of my requests have remained stuck inside of FB for the past 11-13 months. I get it fixed, the problem resurfaces within a month.
BTW to the Anonymous person who commented on 2/25 - you can tell your comment is DH-ish if you felt the need to leave your name out of it. I mean, come on....what a crappy thing to say. And i think you can figure out what DH stands for. (rhymes with stick thread).

  11. Yaelle, you've never had 1,000 (or even 500) neighbors. Farmville has never allowed you more than 300. You might have thousands of Facebook friends, but that's not the same thing. Only neighbors can buy your goods. Learn more about how the game actually works, quit looking for things to bitch about, relax and have more fun and you might actually have more success.

Anyone can name call. It's what children do. Some names rhyme with "punt". Just sayin'.

    1. Anonymous...maybe they don't allow you to have over 300 neighbors, but many of us have a lot more. I currently have over 500. Maybe you need to ask support why you are restricted to only 300.

      Delete
    2. No you don't. It's always been limited to 300. http://www.farmvilledirt.com/2013/01/the-10-things-we-hope-fv-will-fix-or.html

I believe information from the Dirt Farmer more than anyone who posts here, many of whom are completely ignorant of how things work.

  12. Just a suggestion - put a carriage return character before each numeral, so they each list on a new line. And please spell paedophile correctly - the 'ae' is a digraph from the original Greek. fencing adelaide.
